This is the little town of Beaumont along Hadrian‘s wall path. The church is younger than the farm buildings, but it replaces a much older church that dated back to the 1500s. I looked at some of the cemetery stones, and many of the family names date back 600 and 700 years. This is an unknown town to most people and yet it has this long rich history.
